World Cup Champion All Black Coach, Sir Graham Henry
Graham Henry coached the All Blacks to glory in the 2011 Rugby World Cup, at home in New Zealand. He was then awarded Coach of the Year at the IRB awards, receiving this award for a record fifth time. Having stepped down from his head coaching role, Graham will remain in New Zealand and will continue to share his extensive skills and knowledge with local rugby coaches and players.
Former Prime Minister, Rt Hon Dame Jenny Shipley
As Prime Minister from 1997 to 1999 Jenny brought New Zealand through the Asian crises and returned the economy to growth of over 4%. Dame Jenny Shipley retired from New Zealand politics in 2002 and returned to the private sector. Jenny is an independent director of a number of companies in New Zealand and offshore and Chairman of Genesis Energy. Since 2007 Jenny has served as an Independent Director on the Hong Kong and Shanghai listed Fortune 500 company, the China Construction Bank. Jenny's key area of interest is effective strategic leadership and shaping the future.
New Zealander of the Year 2010, Sir Ray Avery
Ray Avery is a successful pharmaceutical scientist, a founding member of the Auckland University of Medicine, Department of Clinical Pharmacology, and former Technical Director of Douglas Pharmaceuticals. Over the past thirty years, Ray has made a major contribution in the development of New Zealand's pharmaceutical industry.
