Description
Brian Silverstone joined the University of Waikato in 1969. He specialises in macroeconomics. His current research interests include business confidence, business surveys and aspects of labour market behaviour. He has been a visiting scholar at the Universities of York, Bristol, Durham and New South Wales, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, NZIER and NIESR (London). He is a life member of the New Zealand Association of Economists and a former Editor of the New Zealand Economic Papers and President of the Association of Economists.
